Welcome to Wildfish Crafts!

Welcome to Wildfish Crafts; a friendly, happy team-of-one based in the beautiful town of North Berwick in East Lothian, Scotland. Wildfish Crafts began as a result of finally having the time (a luxury I wasn’t used to!) to make presents for my family and friends, as well as wanting to make gifts fun and functional with an added twist of sustainability.

My collection of handmade, eco-friendly products include a range of useful and personal goodies that you may wish to purchase as a gift for a special person or as a treat for yourself. Many of my products are specifically kind to the environment, but above all they are all made with care, attention and an added pinch of East Lothian magic.

After retiring early, my husband and I moved up to beautiful North Berwick from the Midlands. We both grew up by the sea in Liverpool, then raised our family in the middle of the country - much to the annoyance of our two children, who have informed us at every opportunity how disappointed they were for moving away from our home city - we couldn’t wait to be, once again, beside the sea, only this time in sunny Scotland!

Having spent my whole career teaching students in the amazing subject of Design and Technology, I decided it was time to ‘share the love’ of making, outside of a school setting and I hope that you will appreciate the skills and crafts behind the gifts.

Wildfish Crafts is a manufacturing team-of-one. However, I do have my own talented team of family members supporting me, working on my social media profiles and website. My husband has even “volunteered” on numerous occasions to cut and label some of my products in return for home baked cakes!

So far, I have attended 5 craft fairs, selling a range of homemade products. I thoroughly enjoyed attending the craft fairs, along with meeting a broad spectrum of interesting people. I also have my products in various outlets locally, both in North Berwick and beyond!

My plan for the future is to continue building my small business both online and in person, at craft fairs, markets and in a select number of other outlets, with the emphasis on creating quality, eco-friendly and sustainable gifts.
